Reclamation
Bringing overgrown, washed-out, or forgotten driveways and access roads back to something you can actually use without tearing up your vehicle.
Reclamation
Take it back from the weeds and ruts.
Old drives, access roads, and paths don't stay good on their own. They wash out, grow over, and slowly disappear. Reclamation work is about cutting it back, rebuilding the base, and giving you a solid, usable surface again.
- Reclaiming old gravel driveways and lanes
- Reopening overgrown access roads and trails
- Repairing deep ruts, washouts, and low spots
- Blending fresh stone into what's still solid
- Shaping and crowning for long-term drainage
What reclamation usually involves
It's more than just dropping new rock on top of a mess. Proper reclamation digs in, fixes the worst spots, and gives the water somewhere to go so you don't end up right back where you started.
- Cutting back brush and encroaching edges
- Scarifying or loosening the existing surface where needed
- Filling washed-out sections and low pockets
- Rebuilding the base in soft or failed areas
- Crowning or shaping for drainage instead of flat “bathtubs”
Work with what can be saved.
Not every reclamation needs a complete rebuild. The goal is to keep what's still solid, fix what's failed, and bring the whole lane or drive back to a condition you can rely on – without wasting money on things you don't need.

Reclamation in action

If your "driveway" is starting to look more like a trail, send a few photos and a rough length and we'll see what it takes to bring it back.
